What you can do

If you have thought, "I would like to do something for Kim, I wonder what she needs," here are a few ideas:

Prayer!!
Prayer is wonderful, and best of all, it's cheap. There are many things you could pray for:
-wisdom and discernment of medical team: Dr. Otteman, Dr. Killion, and all the wonderful nurses and        support staff!!
     -peace and healing for Kim
-peace and ability to support for friends and family
-prayers of thanks to personal consulting medical team: Thanks to the brothers-in-law: Dr. Al Schergen and Dr. George Klee!!!
-praying for research teams, medical staff, and patients who are all in the fight against cancer so that a cure can be found.

Cards
Cards are wonderful.  There is a new found appreciation in cards, notes, or letters; homemade is great! So far the front runner for a homemade card is Paige and Parker Garcia with their fantastic construction paper valentine! They convey wonderful sentiments and let's her know how much you all care.

Phone Calls/emails
Due to the chemo treatments, it is hard to get out a lot due to risk of infection.  Phone calls and emails are a wonderful way to connect.  Hearing how YOU and your family are doing is a welcomed topic to talk about. She loves hearing how people are doing and what they are up to.

Visits
If you have a cold, please refrain from visiting until you are well again.  Also, fortunately one of the few side effects experienced is fatigue.  So, a phone call first, would be appreciated to see if she feels up to it.
